I have myself worked on several acquisitions and seen how pricing made a substantial difference in how successful it was. In one case we doubled the net earnings in 12 months. In another we saved an estimated 25 million Euros operating profit (on a 200MEUR OP business) versus the scenario where customers would have had their way with the prices post-acquisition.
